去年夏天，妈妈带我去北京旅游，我终于如愿以偿的蹬上了雄伟的长城。“长城”一个多么响亮的名字，它是我们中国人民的骄傲。

在一个清新的早晨，舅舅还专门找了一辆“宝马”车送我们去长城，“宝马”车坐着可舒服了，车子在郊外的公路上飞驰着。不一会，车子来到了长城脚下，长城的风景真是迷人啊!到处都是一座座绵绵不断的山脉。

我们买票进去后，走了一小段路就来到了一个烽火台，那里面非常凉爽。走出烽火台，就是一个一个的大台阶，每一个台阶的距离大概有10厘米，每上一步都很难，越往上爬台阶就越高，远远望去就像一条永远也走不完路。

我们一边上一边欣赏两边的风景，终于蹬上了最高处。站在高处远远望去，长城就像一条沉睡的巨龙躺在那里休息。我抚摸着长城的城墙，想起我国古代的劳动人民，他们在没有任何现代工具的帮助下，竟然建成了这雄伟的长城。他们用自己的勤劳和智慧，给我们留下了这珍贵无比的文化遗产。

今天天气很好，刚好有两个好朋友在北京玩，我一陪玩就陪她们去长城！来北京快两年了，都还没去过长城，对长城印象停留在10年前，和父母第一次到北京玩的时候到过一次长城。

去年，北京开通了城铁S2线直达长城，于是我们决定坐火车去。到长城的火车在西直门附近的北京北站发车，没想到，中国还有如此干净的火车站，里面候车室感觉像机场，连厕所都相当干净。如果其它火车站也这么干净，那坐火车就没那么难受了。到长城的车是和谐号动车组，座位之间的间隔似乎比一般动车都宽，也许是为了列车转头后将椅子进行旋转的需要。

很顺利到达长城后，我们开始爬长城。虽然不是节假日、黄金周，不过长城还是吸引了很多的游客，在陡一点的地方，大家脚步一放慢，就比较拥挤了。我们不断向上爬，到了这一段的最高处后就往另外一个方向下山，这一段可让我们吃尽了苦头，太陡了，感觉都是垂直的，而且爬山容易下山难，碰上有阶梯的还好走点，碰上是坡的，手都紧紧握着护栏，膝盖很累，真想直接滑下去了，哈哈！真不知道古代的人是怎么把长城修建起来的，不亏是世界奇迹之一啊！不到长城非好汉，不过这块石碑已经不在长城上面了……
